Well, it's time to bid farewell to Scotland... or perhaps not. I liked it so much here that I decided to stay and keep company to my friend Enrico. And in order to blend in with the locals I decided to buy myself this lovely hat.

DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE...

Here I am at Deacon Brodie's Tavern, the place to go for the best haggis in town (so they claim). If you wish to try haggis and don't know what it is, I strongly recommend that you avoid reading the explanation before you actually eat it...

The tavern is named after Deacon Brodie, a Scottish cabinet-maker who had a double life: during the day he was a respectable tradesman, but at night he became a burglar and thief. He inspired R. L. Stevenson's famous book "The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde".

AROUND THE ROYAL MILE

Here I am again, having a stroll around the Royal Mile. In the background you can see St. Giles' Cathedral.

And this is a view of Victoria Street, with its charming little shops and restaurants.
